Ignite Theatre exists to provide free drama and arts opportunities for young people of diverse backgrounds who may face multiple challenges in life. It aims to offer inclusive and accessible workshops which help build confidence, tackle social isolation and develop new friendships. Ignite is now expanding the age range that it works with and through a number of new initiatives have allowed people of all ages, to include older adults, the opportunity to benefit from being involved in free arts activities. As the charity grows having opportunities for every generation to access free Arts activities becomes an achievable goal. As the only dedicated Arts organisation based in the area, Ignite aims to offer activities which reach marginalised members of the community and improve their quality of life.

Objectives: 4 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 The provision of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the young persons for whom the activities are primarily intended. 4.2 The advancement of the arts, heritage and culture. 4.3 The promotion of equality and diversity.
