**What the charity does:** The purpose of the charity is to provide a safe environment and to encourage and promote the development of sport, both physical and exertion for the wellbeing of the inhabitants of Westhill and the surrounding area, for the health benefits that it can provide.  The activities also provide opportunities for public participation for a wide range of participants.  The provision of recreational facilities at Lawsondale are available to male and female members of the community, as per the Recreational Charities Act 1958.

**Objectives:** The organisation's purposes are:  4.1 To provide a safe environment and to encourage and promote the development of sport, both physical skill and exertion for the well being of the inhabitants of Westhill and the surrounding area, for the health benefits that it can provide. 4.2 The activities will provide opportunities for public participation for a wide range of participants (in terms of skill or ability, physical condition, age etc). Provision for elite, professional or disabled athletes will be available. 4.3 The provision of recreational facilities at Lawsondale are available to male and female members of the community, in the interests of social welfare, as per the Recreational Charities Act 1958.  In order to achieve the above, the group will act as the Tenant over the facilities at Lawsondale Pavilion, Westhill, for the landlords.
