**What the charity does:** We are part of the Trussell umbrella network, providing help and support to those referred to us by local welfare agencies who recognise their clients' need for food and financial support. We provide them with food and, with their permission, refer them to Citizens Advice (who are available on site) to review their benefits. As we are in a position to review their benefits there and then, we find that many people do not need to return to us, as they can often afford to purchase the food their family needs. We also provide support to the local primary schools - (in an area of severe economic and social deprivation) as requested by the head teachers.
