Objectives: The Museum's objects are the advancement and promotion of the education and the interest of the public in motor cars and vehicles and other forms of transport (including but not limited to those connected with the cinema) and other exhibits connected or related thereto by the provision of a museum or museums in Scotland and to promote the permanent acquisition, restoration, preservation and maintenance and display of such exhibits and to exhibit to the public any such exhibits and items as aforesaid by means of temporary or permanent exhibitions and to acquire, restore, preserve, maintain and display such exhibits.
