**What the charity does:** Provide grants for the maintenance and repair of church buildings and grant aid to other activities of the church.

**Objectives:** Firstly (a) to support and encourage the advancement of the Christian religion, and (b) to promote the advancement of heritage and culture as evidenced in Congregational Church Property, in connection with the Church of Scotland, the Free Church of Scotland, the Reformed Presbyterian Church, the United Reformed Church and the United Free Church and any successor churches of the foregoing, all in Scotland, or any of them (with special regard to any of the foregoing churches or successor churches based in the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright and in the counties of Ayr, Wigton, Lanark, Renfrew, and Dumbarton and, thereafter, in any other counties in Scotland), or any registered charity in Scotland which has a representation on its governing body from any of the foregoing churches, or successor churches,  Secondly, to support and encourage the advancement of Christian religious education of young persons in the area of Irvine, North Ayrshire, particularly in connection with any of the Church of Scotland, the Free Church of Scotland , the Reformed Presbyterian Church, the United Reformed Church or the United Free Church or any successor churches of the foregoing, and  Thirdly, to support and encourage the advancement of further and higher education, in particular for ministers, trainee ministers or others connected to any of the Church of Scotland, the Free Church of Scotland, the Reformed Presbyterian Church, the United Reformed Church or the United Free Church or any successor churches of the foregoing,
