ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCES
Tumble Section — Our tumble section in the club is the biggest discipline now with over 122 tumble gymnasts. This ranges from our Club Grade 1-2, Club Grade 3, Club Grade 4-6, Regional and FIG Gymnasts. We had several medals at the Scottish Championships in November 2024. Due to the amount of older gymnasts who want to compete and are out of age for competitions we have brought in a brand new class for this section starting off with only one class at Christmas and due to huge demand we now have 4 classes per week now and are all full. We also have 2 new level 1 Tumble coaches qualified as well as 2 new level 1 Trampoline coaches.
We also entered into the Elite FIG competition with 2 gymnasts at the British Spring 1 competition with one of our gymnasts attending and winning for the very first time at the competition aged 10yrs with a Bronze medal. We also again have made Scottish history by producing the first men’s senior tumbler within Scotland. Unfortunately he just missed out on a medal coming in 4'" place but produced a PB as well as achieving the World Score. In the Spring 2 Competition he wona silver medal achieved another PB and again achieved the World Score for the second time. Annual Tumble Competitions — We have introduced two inhouse tumble comps for our members to gain vital experience for tumbling within their own club. We also hold a Tumble open competition as well which had over 200 gymnasts in attendance.
Display Section — We have increased our display teams now from 3 to 4 teams who all tour the UK. The teams range from Pre-Development, Development, Junior’s & Seniors. The teams have travelled to Lanark, Middlesbrough, Edinburgh & Paisley. In total we have 111 gymnasts in the teams which is the fun side of gymnastics as well as the social aspect for the gymnasts. These classes are very popular within the club allowing gymnasts who don’t want to compete but want to still enjoy gymnasts. This year we have many new members join with the promotion of our annual Birthday Festival. The exciting part of or display teams is that we now have a Mums team called The Diamonds with 15 members. international Italy Display Trip — Sapphire attended the International Festival Del Sole in Italy with 24 gymnasts and a total of 42 with family and friends in attendance. The gymnasts had an amazing time and over the 7 day we were away made lots of new friends and performed their routine to perfection. They enjoyed the pool parties, beaches and water parks visits. The trip was so successful that the club has decided that we will be going away again in 2026 to the Bloom Festival in Gran Canaria.
Recreational Section — Due to the huge demand for classes we have introduced another 4 recreational classes into our programmed sessions. We have rolled out a brand new layout and session plans for the section which has more of a fun and skill section which we hope the gymnasts will enjoy.
ASN Section. This class is still very busy and is a weekly class and is part of our main curriculum. Due to the demand for classes we have now added schools to the club programme and now have 3 schools in attendance on a weekly basis over the last year.
Tiny Tots Section — Our tiny tots section has a total of 24 members with their parents in our weekly classes and is now full, due to the demand of this class we will be looking at starting up an additional class to keep up with demands for the members.

Annual Festival — Our 12th annual Birthday festival was a huge success again with a record number of over 888 gymnasts and 27 clubs attending from all over the UK and Ireland. The venue at Paisley is ideal and we have now settled into the arena and clubs love the energy it brings to display with indoor lighting, indoor fireworks, the additional stalls and fun tumble, handstand and lever competitions. The atmosphere is electric and the word always coming back to us is “family” which was our goal. The demand for our event is huge now and is on the calendar for the following year with slots snapped up immediately after the event.
Additional Coaching Staff - We are very excited to see our young coaching coming through the club and we have now 6 new potential coaches who are all PVG and competed their Child Protection courses. They are all booked onto UKCC Level 1 courses from August which is fantastic news for the club. We also have 2 new Child Protection officers and a new UKCC Level 1 Acro Coach.
