**What the charity does:** We aim to support health & well being, community development and environmental improvement by encouraging and enabling members to grow food locally. We do this through the provision of community garden spaces, both outdoors and inside the polytunnel, at the Stromness Community Garden site. and through activities to share produce with the wider community.

**Objectives:** 4.1 the advancement of community development through provision of and participation in community garden spaces in a sustainable and inclusive manner, 4.2 the advancement of health by supporting and encouraging the growing of food locally, 4.3 the advancement of education by supporting, encouraging and seeking to improve gardening of all kinds in Stromness and the surrounding area through the provision of community garden spaces, 4.4 to advance environmental improvement through the growing of food locally, leading to a reduction in carbon footprint , increased resilience, and opportunities for recycling organic and other materials.
