A New Hub for Potlok8haw8
One of the non-housing outGomes we will be pursuing is a new purpose-built
community hub and garden. As ourcurrent premises are within the final regeneration
81ta, we wlll have to move to another Site. This has presented us wlth a great
opportunlty to flnalLy have a hub whlch Is purpose bullt ancl glves us room to grow and
develop, especially 88 the population of the area is growing. Itwill also giv8 U8 the
Dpportuntyto have a larger, well-constructed community garden which will also
provide mor8 Opportunities for development. However, within the TRA there are
competlng prlorities 8nd so this will be a long process of negotiating to have the site we
W8nt and then 8 lot of work to secure funding etc. The communityvoice within th8 TRA

is probably the strongest it has been in the whoLe regeneration process, thanks in no
Small part to members of the PECC who have been particularLy supportive with this
endeavor, both at the meetings and out with.

The funding landscape remains challenglng for organi8atlons such as ours and as some
of our funding comes to an end in April 2026 we will be seeking 8ubstantial funding
during this year. Our thanks to Henry Smith, Glasgow City Council Communities Fund
and Area Partnershlp, Robert80n Trust and Glasgow M8nt8l HeaLth and WelLbeing Fund
which hav8 funded us th18 year and allowed u8 to provlde activitie8 and 8ervice8 which
