Objectives: 4.1 The advancement of citizenship and community development, by encouraging volunteering, community engagement, encouraging learning and regeneration through physical, environmental, social and economic infrastructure improvements. 4.2 The provision of recreational facilities and activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for members of the public at large, but with a special emphasis on persons deemed socially excluded. 4.3 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement by: increasing the usage of cycling, as a green mode of transport. improving cycling infrastructure. maintaining, reusing and recycling cycles. and through the adoption of sustainable practices aimed to limit the carbon footprint of the SCIO and the wider community.
