Islamic Foundalton is a Small Scottish Charity {SC0438921, and operating in Glasgow. We seek to support for the
the prevention or relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the relief of those in need by reason of age. ill health,
disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.

The Charity objects are specili¢ally restricted lo the followng: 1.1 To advance education for young people living in areas
of need in Pakistan and other areas of need throughout the world. 1.2 To prtsvide relief lo people who are in need
because of poverty by providing educational opportLJnilies. clean water projects and general support to improve living
conditions in Pakistan and other areas of need worldwide. 1.3 To support those al risk of social isolation due lo low
income or suffering the effects of poverty and residing in the South Side of Glasgow through the development and
piovision of serviceg aimed at encDuraging inler-generational and mulli-cullural irtsgralion.
Activitios
Charrty carried out the survey lo identify the people in need for the fulu¥e planning and had meetings with local
communities and organisalions and arranged dinner for senior citrLen5.

This SCIO was sel up by
and was recognised as a Scottish Charitable incorporation organlsation with
effect from 09 January 2013.The governing document of SCIO is the constitution

The trustees were those appointed on the estsblishment of SCIO and reprèsent the minimum number required.
Appointments and removals are in accordance with the conslilulion which approve by the board of existing trustees.

Thè committee members are responsible for the preparation of the ac¢ounl8 for each financial year. which gives a true
anil fair review of the slate of affairs al the end of the year and of ils results for that period. In preparing those
accounts the Fnembers are required lo.,

Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent
Stale whether applicable accounting standards have been followed
Prepare the accounts on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate lo assume that the scheme
will continue
The committee members are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable
accuracy al any lime the financial position of the project and which will enable them to comply wlh accounting
procedures of The Law Reform IMisce11aneous Provisions) Iscollandl Act 1990 and The Charities Accounts Iscollandl
regulations 1992. As a Scottish charty they must also comply with the applicable terms and provisions of the Charities
& Trustee Investment IS¢oll8ndl Regulations 2006. They are responsible for safeguarding the assets of the organisation
and hence for tsking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud or other irregularities.

high standard we have been renowned for.

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the temis of the Charities
and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Regulations 2006. The charity
trustees Consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10111 Idl of the Accounts Regulation5 does not apply. It is my
responsibility to examine the accounts as fequired under section 44111 Ic} of the Act and to stste whether particular
matters have come to my attention.

My examination is carried out in ac¢ordan¢e wth Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Regulations 2006.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accoun15 and
seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such rnatters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audit and, Consequently, I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts.
