We provide education in aviation subjects including basic navigation, principles of flight, airmanship, air navigation, propulsion, airframes,operational flying, satellite communications, aircraft handling, radio and radar. Also, citizenship training, adventure training, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, sport and  First Aid training.  We achieve this by have one or two weekly parade nights at our premises, arranging visits to various installations incuding airfields and Royal Air Force sites and taking part with other Squadrons at higher Wing level activities.
