The purpose of the organisation is to help families in the local area by providing play experience for children with their parents from birth to nursery school age. It also supports the families with child care and social issues, e.g. through social services, health visitors and other statutory organisations. The organisation has good working relationships with local statutory organisations, other child care providers, etc.

Objectives: The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: a. To advance education opportunities of persons for whom the facilities are intended. This includes volunteers. b. To provide recreational facilities, or organise recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. c. To provide relief for families with children age 0 -5 years in need, by reason of age, ill health, disability financial hardship or other disadvantage.
