We aim to serve God daily through praise. worship friendship and sep4e our community,
offering hope, direction and purpose, by sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
The Kirk Session made the decision to change the tlme of Sunday moming worship to
11.00am to suit all ages. As we have moved through the pandernic, we have altered our
serrfice tlmes in order to accomm￿￿e seNices at both Corby churches on a Sunday. The
service from St Ninian's is livestreamed. StAndreWs does have the facility to record services
so that they may be put onllne for those who cannot attend Church in person.
Our sound system has now been fully upgraded and gives access to all within Churth.
We have established our website, social media presenca and quarterly magazine to make us
more accessible to both the congregation and our local community. Information is now
available on our website for those seeking either a baptism or to be married in St Andrews.
The information provides a first step that slTh)uld prove helpful for enquirers.

We now also have full wi-fi available in both the Church and Church Hall.
We also support Corby Food bank awKI Corby Nlghtllght Homeless shelter In Corby. We have
previously opened the hall in the coldest of winter months to offer a place for shelter and a
hot meal, lyjt thrs has been affected by the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
We also aim to raise awareness of the Church's resporffjibilty to become paperle&s and eco-
friendly by end of 2022.
The removal of some pews at the bad( of the church wior to the pandemic provided a chlld-
friendly (carpeted) space.
St Andrew's is a churth which is moving into the fijture while embracing its traditional values.
We a￿ attempting to manage change and modemisation, while enjoying our joumey of faith
together.
Communlcant Roll: As of 31 St December, the membership was 126 full member3. 26 on the
supplementsry role and 2 adherents. The pandemic has had an impact on attendan￿ at
Services and at Communion Services during the year, as it did in 2020. It is hoped that as
the UK emerges from this period of lod(downs and other restrictions that attendan￿ wlll
revert to what it was before.
ommunl
Webslte: This is now fully up and running and manged within the Communications team. All
relevant 8nd up to date information is available. All ¢Jetails regarding church life and activities
are posted here. All inforrnation on our joint servi￿$ St Ninains and our besFoke
Christmas services can all be found ￿ our website
Facebook: We have a full and immensety FK)pular FacetK)ok page on which we also refiect
all infomiation that is posted on to our website. We also add service detalls here for our sister
Church St Ninians's.
Age Proflle
The age profile of the population of St Andw's is ever increasiThJ- with the average member
now over 70. Unfortunately. we have lost the small number of children under the age of 12
that were attending prior to lock down. We aim to try and get these back now the church is
reopened, and restrictions have now eased.
Flnanci
In the original b￿￿get for 2021, St Andr*s was expecting a deficit of around £7.OCK) however
we have fourKI ourselves in a surplus of £18.764. This is far better than we had hoped,
particularfy as the loGkdown went on much longer than we had all originally hoped. Income
has increased slgnificantly. and all regular users of the hall have retumed.
R&¢elpts and Payments Account - Donatlons

The Analysis of donations (Note 3) in Noles to the Accounts highlights the following: _
Donations for 2021 have increased to more than double that of 2020.
WFO and the open plate shows a healthy increase vthich was expected due to the
congregation returning after lockdown measures were ease(l.
Other offerings showed a small increase due to generous donations from rneMb￿s of the
congregation - knowing the church would struggle with lack of regular funds.
Actlvltles for Gen•rallng fvnds: Currenty St Andre￿S cu￿entlY does not have a working
fund-raising team. This will be discussed, and we will look to reinstate it in 2022.
Rental of Premlsos: Changes have been put In Pla￿ over re￿nt years regarding the rental
of our Church and Church Hall. We try to select the right community groups to use our Hall
and have particularly encouraged many children's groups. Our aim is to make it a°Community
Hall. open and affordable for all.
Tolal Recelpt: Overall income was up 63% compared wth the previous year.
Payments: The payments for the year were redu￿ by 13%. Spending was tightly
controlled. Our M&M vacancy reduction and Presbuyery dues reduction also really helped
keep the costs down for the year. Our Manse was also successfully rented out towards the
back end of 2020 and we We￿ able to daim this money back frorn the General Trustees to
cover all fabric outgoings.
Reserves Pollcy
It is the Trustees. policy to hold reserves of approximatety six moTrths' expenditure including
designated funds. At the year end the Church held unrestricted cash funds of £39,457. This
should allow for sufficient reserves to ensure that any unexpectsd and urgent expenditure
can be met satisfactorily with the level of unrestricted cash funds also available to meet
outreach and any other needs for the Church. This means that St Andrff¥V'S has sufficient
funds for twelve months, standard expenditure. Designated small budget fijnds will be set up
to allow the various teams to worf( within their budget and remit. No overspend will be
allowed in 2022.
Statement of Trusts08' Responslbilities
