Girlguiding Tweedbank's core purpose is to empower girls and young women to develop their full potential and make a positive difference in the world. This is achieved through fun, friendship, challenge, and adventure, fostering personal growth and confidence. We aim to help girls and young women develop emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually, enabling them to contribute to their communities and the wider world. We do this by holding weekly meetings where the girls work together in small groups and choose their own activities from the core Girlguiding programme, encouraging their independence and fostering communication skills and good team work. We supplement this by offering exciting adventurous activities and residential opportunities both close to home and further away.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people'

Objectives: Promoting the instruction of girls of all classes in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship.
