'the advancement of education','the advancement of religion','the advancement of citizenship or community development','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

SiMY exists to support children, young people, and families in Townhead and the surrounding areas, many of whom live with the effects of poverty and the challenges it brings. Our purpose is to counter the negative social, emotional, and health impacts of long-term deprivation by providing safe spaces, fostering positive relationships, and creating opportunities that promote wellbeing, creativity, confidence, and community connection.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: 1. To express the values of the Christian faith through the delivery of a range of activities, providing practical assistance to everyone residing in Townhead and the surrounding areas who are at a disadvantage because of their social and economic circumstances. 2. To advance education through the provision of a range of planned and informal educational activity through which young people and their families can explore and develop their potential. 3. To advance community development by providing opportunities for people to engage in voluntary activity designed to be of benefit to the community, and to provide training and support to those who volunteer.
