**What the charity does:** Tarbert Castle Trust is set up to conserve, maintain and improve Tarbert Castle and associated grounds through regular working parties of volunteers. The Trust advances knowledge and understanding of archaeology, history and culture with working parties, regular school groups and visitor information. Citizenship is advanced through the opportunities to volunteer in the conservation and maintenance of the Castle and grounds.

**Objectives:** On behalf of the community as defined by the area of the Community Council of Tarbert and Skipness hereinafter called the 'Community' and the general public good the purposes of TCT will be : ? The advancement of heritage by the conservation and maintenance of Tarbert Castle. ? The advancement of education by archaeological, historical and cultural research of Tarbert Castle. ? The advancement of citizenship by the provision of opportunities to volunteer in the conservation and maintenance of Tarbert Castle.
