adult lund8r S's had to be ac￿Mp8nIed) and tak8 part in a varlety of games, sports and arts actlvltles.

Springhall ran from July, An open acc@S8 poIIcy 811owed chlldren 5-12 years to attend without 8n adult (under
5:s had lo be aocompgnlad) and take part in a variety of games, sports and arts activities. Actlvltles ware child
led with staff supportlng play and helping to manage resources, Chlldren could come and go and dld nol need

Following th8 model of our other Pop Up Play for Kids sesslons11 was open to children onty wth the same
opan access policy howev8r segglnn8 ar8 regularly attended by whole I￿llIeS wlth parents and grandparents
joining In the fun and u8lng the session as 8 m88llng point for 8chooVclass friendship groups. All local schools
are w811 represented at the sesslon wlth 8UPPOrt to share information partlcularfy Strong from Hallside Prlinary
'rhe session Is regularly altended by S1 and 2 chlldren who drDP In aftèr school and as such ¥taff h8ve
exiended the so8sion to Include them. They lave engaged very positively wlth the sessions and the younger

Familles took place at our For8St School slte In Cambuslang Park Thls sosslon allowed families who work
during the w88k to P8rticipate Jn w&ekends and Is a regu18r gathÈiing spol lor famllies. The se85iong featured
a range of activrti&8 Including sports, outdoor play such as den bullding and tree swings, a mud kitchen, and
arts and crafts. Addlllonally, the se8slon8 Included Ihem&S weeks wlth plcturelscavenger hunts, as well as
celebratlOll3 foT occasions Ilke H8lloween ano Chrlstinas, being hosted here. The sessions have a18rge
number of chlldren wllh addl￿onal 8upporl naod8 atlendlng particularly with siblings ensuring whole famlly
inclusion, It has also b88n well utllised by famllles whose chlldren b.ave allended the Eady Escapade8

Summor Hollday Programme- Our annu81 Summer Fun Pfogramm8 returned wth wèèkly activities across
multiple venues wllli each week havlng ils own disllnct theme Includlng The Great Outdoors, Creature Capers
and Terriflc Transport. Sesslons Includ8d Out and About, P¢JP Up Play for Klds, Forest Fun, Picture Hunt and
Play. Get Sporty, Pop Up Play for F8mllie8 and Communlty Campfire8. The8e sesslons offered a wide variety
of outdoor play, arts and crafts, sports, Storle8. gam8s and forest school acdvttle8. The summer programme
wa8 very well altonded wltli many new famlllej lolnlng In the Iree fun.

and fnijnd Acf08s C8mbu81ang and Rutherglon green spaces The dI￿S wefe prlntel wth a variety of im2ges
and wer& released at regular Int6Nals. The Bummor hunt was 83 tK)pul8r as ever wllh flnders keepiro us
updated with photos and comments on Social medla.
Bark In thè Park- Our 8nnual dog show'Bark In the Park, took plate In partnership with Friends of
Cambu8lang Park in Oclobgr. This popular eommunlty event saw hundreds of dogs and their owners take part
In a fun dog show and enloy 8talls of m8lnly dog themed Items, chlldren's 8rts and crafts, a human and canlne
tr8asur6 hunt and our total racall event.

of movem8nl and dance 8Ctlvitles In8pltsd by the tliemes of our storles. Sasslons ended with a cool4own to
help children transitlon al the end of the 3e38ion, On Our T08s serv6d as an excellent Introduclion for chlldren
and their parenlslcarar8 to thls type of rn0￿ structured earfy years actlvlly and was the flrst experience for
many children wlth such acllvili88, Addttlonalty, we welcomed rneny returning chlldren and families, with On
Our Toes being oné of our mo81 popular s6sslons. On Our Toes contributed to children'6 development by
helping thern achieve physlcal m1108ton&s whlle 8180 promotlng creatlve acllvlty and early literacy.
Communlty Campflres- Communlty Campflres were used to bring the widest range of people in the
community together and were not largeted at one parfcular group we work wlth These tC()k place at different

Campfire And Cook - We enloyed monthly sesslons of Campfire and Cook brtnging people over 60 Includlng those living
In local care homes tD our Forest Schotsl Slte to cook logether over a Campfire. Participants not only enjoyed the
opportunity lo partlClP8ta in outdoor acllvity and cook together but also the soclal connections this activity brought We
cooked a varlely of foods Includlng lentll cassoulet, Chrtslrnas paninis, chicken stew and baked bananas.
Hallowè8n - Halloween celebrations took p18ce At differ8nt 88S81on8 wlth a Halloween Pop Up Play for
Families al Cambuslang Park wlth pumpkln hoop18, wand and potlon making and lots of Halloween arts ad
orafts. a Halloween Hunt and cauldrons at Toddllng Tots and 8 'Room on the Broom, dance class for On Our
Toes We had small partles at both Pop Up Play for Kld8 88881ons wllh food and extra games.

Cainbusiang Park. a Chrlslm85 Hunt and loy8 al Toddllng TolB and a f88ttve dance class for On Our Toes.

whlch enabled us lo give glfls lo our m08t vulneroble chlldren. Rom18 Dance Cornpany and Fulty Fltted
Kltchens Scotland both had toy drlve8 for us and we also r8calved donatlons of gllls from others wllhin the
community Tumer Acc88s provlded blankets and 8electlon boxes for us through the Community Wishlisl and
the Kiack6n Chlppy in Cambu81ang provided 100 chlldrèn'8 meal voucher8 whlch were dlstrlbuted to children
in Springhall and Whitlawburn Th18 enablgd u8 lo create brllllanl Chrlslmas glfts for those who neèded it th•
most. All the don8tlon8 W8r8 much appreclated partlcularty dt such 8 challenglng financial rA)int for people.
Advent CalendeY- We declded to ulillse recordlngs made durlng Covid on our YouTube channel lo create a
Christmas advent calendar of stories and actlvltles, These were programmed to be released on our social
medla each moming of December and were w811 r8ceived by the communlly.
