voluntary sectors. including community groups.

responsibilities of the citizen. through the development of
opportunities for people with learning disabilities to be more

activity including volunteering.
The promotion of equality and diversity including the
elimination of discrimination.
The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability,
financial hardship or other disadvantage, contributing to the
prevention or relief of poverty through information and
advocacy.
Summary of the maln activities
In relatlon to these objects
Our 15 TAG groups continue to promote our work across the country. In
addition, as part of our service level agreement with Key we facilitated 8
consultation events for the people they support to evaluate the seNice
they receive. We have also reviewed thelr complaints process and
updated their video on how to make a complaint.
We received additional funding from the Wellbeing Fund in Glasgow to
provide a programme of accessible taster sessions. We worked with
several community-based organisations to provide learning blocks on
music, drama, music therapy, cooking and mindfulness.
We have been awarded a second grant from the Big Lottery to adapt our
very successful Game Changers programme to support young people in
transition from school to continue involvement in sport and physical
activity. This initiative started in September with the appointment of a
Community Sport and Health co-ordinator who has been working with 8
schools in Glasgow to facilitate planning and providing information on
I fitness opportunities. She has also established a network of sports clubs
I who are providing introductory sessions for and is working closely with
mainstream sports organisation to improve accessibility.
We have provided facilitation and planning resources to Community
Lifestyles in Glasgow to enable people with learning disabilities to
identify goals and map out ways to achieve them. Thi5 enables us to link
individuals up directly with our network of community resources.
We hosted a conference which focussed on issues people were facing
regarding access banking services. We have supported disabled people
to engage with banks to highlight the problems caused by branch
closure and the difficulties involved in using online banking and an
inrrpA£inkvlv raf hlp<< <nriptv Wp wprp ¢1 innnrtpd hv a Inr21 MP in

Glasgow who raised the issue in Parliament and a number of high street
banks have agreed to work with our members to help address the issues
they have raised.
Our programme of inclusion activities continues and include Quiz Nights,
Football training, Gaming and Pool evenings and thanks to funding from
Community Lifestyles we have started a year long programme of music
therapy in partnership with Nordoff Robins.
In the last financial year, we also began preparations for our second
Strictly All Ability Dance event to be held in early 2025.

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of
the charlty during the financial period
! A major achievement last year with the recognition by the Big Lottery of the
successful Game Changer programme in Glasgow was receiving a second
grant from their Community Fund for three years to adapt and continue
Game Changers Xtra Time with young people in transitions. In addition to
benefitting the young people, older disabled athletes who took part the
original Game Changers have now become ambassadors as Game Changers
Champions to inspire the next generation of disabled athletes to excel in
sport. The Game Changers Champions will lead this initiative.
A major issue for disabled people over the past few years has been access to
banking services. Many disabled people are still dependent on cash
transactions and with the closure of many local bank branches and an
increasing number of venues only accepting card payments, many people
feel their lives are being hampered. To highlight these issues, TAG collated
i information across our 15 groups and organised a Banking Conference. All
the major banks were invited to attend. Initial engagement from Banks was
disappointing, however once a local MP got involved and raised the issues in
Parliament most of the high street banks have got in touch and agreed to get
j involved. We have also worked with two support providers and an HSCP to
get them to pilot a pre-payment bank card with the people they support,
thu5 enabling people to use venues and facilities that do not accept cash
payments. This has been an exciting piece of work which could have a real
impact in promoting social inclusion of disabled people.
Resulting from the great success of last year's Strictly All Ability dance
competitlon our membership has request we host a second event in Aprll
2025. We have already recruited our dance competitors from across
I Scotland and have paired them up with a dance professional, We've also
used this as an opportunity to highlight the gifts and talents of disabled
people by hosting a number of local events including Dance-a-thons, sports
days, football tournaments and musical evenings.

I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025.
Respectlve responslbilities of trustees and examiner
The charity's tTUStees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities
Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The charity trustees consider that the audit

responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state
whether particular matlers have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examlner's statement
My examination is carried out in accordance wlth Regulatlon 11 of the 2006 Accounts
Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the trustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do nol provide all the evidence Ihat
would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view
given by the accounts.
Independent examlner's statement
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention which gives me reasonable
cause to believe Ihat in any material respect the requirements:
to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 44{1) (a) of the 2005 Act and
Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and Comply with
