APPENDIX 1 Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period The church has been able to ftjlfll Its commltments to both the communlty whlch it serves and to the wider work of the Christian church by holding weekly religious services and making opportunities for the development of young people through separate activities. Our community has engaged in local outreach as well as international mission trips abroad. We have sought to engage with the larger Christian community in Edinburgh as well as serving the people of our home congregation through fellowship. acts of service and individual dlscipleship. Crossroads continued in its support of those in and around our community by helping hvo families that moved to the UK, in part due to the Ukraine war with Russia. The funds raised and gifted to these families helped with expenses related to relOtIng. Crossroads was also able to restart its intemational missions in 2024 after a number of years off due to Covid. Addltlonally, Crossroads recefved funds that were used to update old sound equipment and also continue its goal of reaching out to the communty to share about the love of God. Financial review

Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner	The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The charity trustees
	consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations
	does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section
	44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner’s statement	My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the
	charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes
	consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks
	explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken
	do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently, I do
	not express an audit opinion on the viewgiven bythe accounts.
