APPENDIX 1 Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period During the period we continued to run training classes and women's boxercise classes which continue to be well attended and warmly received by the local community as well as providing coaching and competitions for young boxers in the local community. We had 6 district championship boxers, 7 scottish championship boxers and 2 Great British championship boxers. We also had 3 scottish internationalists and 2 european championship representatives. These cover all ages. Income for the year was made up of fees of £38982 and we were fortunate to receive sponsorship from local companies and this along with fundraising and donations totalled £36350. This gave a total income of £40,332. Expenditure was mainly made up of equipment and kit- £3878, competition and affiliation fees - £1730 and minibus costs totalling £1228. This along with £1722 for insurance, utility, hall hire and sundries gave a total expenditure of £8558. With funds carried over from the previous year, this left cash in hand and bank of £39765. INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF KEIR HARDIE BOXING CLUB Scottish Charity Number SC042522 I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 ST March 2025, which are set out on the attached pages Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's statement My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and the seeking of explanations from you as trustees conceming any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and. consequently. I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
