**What the charity does:** REACH Advocacy delivers education and training in human rights-based approaches (HRBA) and accredited HRB Advocacy to populations experiencing marginalisation and harm. We informed the development process of the advocacy award and our human rights based training, on our collective lived experience of 'navigating the jungle of public institutions' . These journeys were invariably triggered through health and or social crises, mental ill health, substance use, poverty and trauma. We believe providing people with the skills and knowledge to claim their fundamental human rights, is an important part of of improving the health and wealth of the nation. We synthesised the lived experience of marginalisation, trauma, poverty and ill health with the values and principles of human rights. The development of human rights and advocacy programmes of learning and qualifications, is a recognised and legitimate means to enabling people to claim their rights, through the embodiment of our social

**Objectives:** The company's objects are: a) the advancement of recovery oriented education and advocacy services for individuals, family/carers and communities affected by substance use disorders.
