Objectives: (a) The objects for which the Company is established are for the public benefit in the United Kingdom and anywhere in the world to provide and assist in the provision and development of opportunities and resources to enable members of the public to undertake voluntary work for charitable purposes in connection with the relief of poverty sickness and distress, the advancement of education and such other charitable purposes as the Company may decide. and for the purposes of such objects charitable purposes shall be as defined in section 97 (1) of the Charities Act 1993. Throughout these Articles 'charitable' means charitable in accordance with the law of England and Wales provided that it will not include any purpose which is not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
