The Charity started a new pilot with Journo liesources.Moving Fornarits mentoring scheme desigDed to help Journalists tsking their next steps in Journalism. The tharity also continued to provid¢ accowmodation for22 (202423) people in the sheltered homes in D￿]ng. The ChaTity makes financial grants to indAvidual jourllalists alld theIrw of the Clwity to ensure the Charity's longevity. The sitijation as at April 2026 shows a small projected Su￿1￿$ for the year t￿t a ]arger deficit in 2027. FINANCIAL REVJEW The financiaL results for the year are set out on page 9. lthe Ch￿lty had pr￿1￿￿1 tbat 2025 would Trsult in an operating deficit of around £6,0(Y) but that this would be covered by ill hand. The deficit in the year of £16,000 (2024 thficit: £44.000) w&8 cOver￿j by a net gain in the Ch￿[ty'S inveslm¢nt porfolio managed by Charles Stsnley of £1:031.000 (20?4 deficit: £99.¢MMJ).
