'the advancement of education'
Our Playgroup is a small non profit organisation that provides play, learning and social interaction for children aged 2 years and 3 months onwards. Every day we meet for 2 hours and we provide a varied program for the children, including arts and crafts, outdoor learning opportunities, song time, story time, big space games and snack time. Each term we plan a topic for learning, art and crafts and other activities with the children. This year we planned 'Teddy Bears Picnic' topic, 'Walking Through The Jungle' topic, 'Colours' topic to name a few. All children have the opportunity to choose their area of play or their choice of activity throughout the morning. As a Playgroup we rely heavily on fundraising with our families and the wider community. Our fundraising keeps our daily costs down so that Playgroup is available to all children in our community and even wider community.

Objectives: The aim of the group is to advance the education and social development of pre-school children with the emphasis on the play experience, so that they take a constructive place in the community and also to advance the education of their parents and other appropriate persons.
