**What the charity does:** East Dunbartonshire Access Panel (EDAP) focusses on breaking down barriers and ensuring equal access to various aspects of life. We actively invite residents of East Dunbartonshire to raise any issue of concern relating to inclusivity and/ or accessibility for disabled and disadvantaged individuals, including accessibility issues for people with prams, and the like, which we would then try to champion, with the appropriate bodies, on their behalf. We are also involved in a stakeholder role with East Dunbartonshire Council to actively represent disabled and disadvantaged individuals in any proposed development or other such proposals.

**Objectives:** East Dunbartonshire Access Panel shall actively promote the welfare and development of the people of East Dunbartonshire by progressively adopting and implementing policies and legislation aimed at achieving the following goals of. supporting people with disabilities through (i) greater access to public places. and (ii) the fullest possible participation in all spheres of the East Dunbartonshire community. In particular the Panel is established to advise and assist in the creation and maintenance of access provision for people who are disabled and reside in East Dunbartonshire. with reference to buildings, environment and access approaches in general.
