The charity provides and maintains premises for use by those living in the local area for leisure time activities with the main focus being the provision of bowling facilities
Objectives: The Objects of the Society are to provide facilities for such forms of sports, recreation and other leisure-time activities, as are conducive to the improvement of health, education, well being and conditions of living of the inhabitants of Motherwell and the neighbourhood thereof within the Society's sphere of operation as defined from time to time and in particular (but not exclusively) such of the inhabitants as are members of the Mining Community provided that nothing herein contained shall authorise the application of the Property to purposes which are not Charitable purposes other than as provided in Clause 9
