**What the charity does:** This charity is set up to conserve Kirkcaldy's built heritage for the community, in particular focussing on Kirkcaldy Old Kirk. We own, maintain and manage the Kirk and associated buildings as a community venue, heritage centre and continuing church. We hire out the space for concerts & conferences to obtain income for maintenance. Capital works like the recent 15th century tower restoration are funded from voluntary donations and/or grants. We host a range of musical, dramatic, artistic and social events. We conduct heritage tours and display heritage exhibitions, do re-enactments and write historical articles. We lead groups climbing the ancient tower, or viewing the Burne-Jones, John Clark and Crear Macartney stained glass windows.

**Objectives:** The objects of the charity are to advance heritage through preserving for public benefit the historical, architectural and constructional heritage that may exist in and around Kirkcaldy in buildings (including any part of a building, and any other structure or erection) of particular beauty or of historical architectural or constructional interest ('the objects').
