**What the charity does:** Through regular rehearsals, performance and taking part in competitions, we foster and promote brass banding at all levels.

**Objectives:** The association's purposes are: • To maintain an active brass group in the Aberdeenshire area, and to strive to improve standards of individual and group playing through public performance. • Improve standards of individual and group playing by participating in approved SBBA contests throughout the year, including the Scottish Championships. Participation at national contests as a result of qualification at the Scottish Championships should be encouraged. • To be an active organisation in the local community and beyond. • Unconditionally, promote a safe, welcoming and friendly environment for all members and visitors, during rehearsals, engagements and other events.
