**What the charity does:** The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation is a Scottish charity supporting people and families affected by vasculitis and life-limiting illness, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, connection, and respite. The Foundation runs support groups in Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, offering safe and welcoming spaces where individuals can share experiences, reduce isolation, and feel understood. In addition, it delivers wellbeing courses designed to support emotional health, resilience, and quality of life through practical and compassionate approaches. A key part of the charity’s work is the provision of a respite cabin, offered free of charge, giving individuals and families the opportunity to rest, reflect, and reconnect away from everyday pressures. Funding for the Foundation is achieved through an annual charity fundraising ball, community fundraising activities, grant applications, charity of the year partnerships, and donations from fundraisers.
