The aims of the COGS is to advance the education and promote the wellbeing of people with a disability, to enable them to participate in competitive and/or recreational swimming. The club trains at Tollcross Leisure Centre on a Thursday from 7.30pm-9pm with trained volunteer coaches. The members range in ability and they are given the opportunity to be part of a team and work with others to achieve their goals.

Objectives: The mission of COGS is to provide year round swimming training and competition in for individuals eight years and above with a learning disability, physical impairment or both. It provides them with continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness and skills, demonstrate commitment, and experience all the pleasures of developing friendships with other swimmers, families, friends and the community, so that their conditions of life can be improved.
