Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so no one in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. Operating from bases at Perth and Aberdeen airports, SCAA’s life-saving crew of paramedics and pilots respond to time-critical accidents and medical emergencies throughout Scotland, 365 days a year. SCAA makes a difference - a patient’s chance of survival and full recovery are greatly increased if they receive the right medical care within the first hour of injury or illness. The fast response of SCAA and its ability to reach Scotland’s most remote and rural areas saves vital minutes when every second really does count. As a charity, SCAA relies on public donations to keep its service running, ensuring critical care is available to those who need it most, no matter where they are in Scotland.

Objectives: 4 The company’s objects are: The emergency relief of sickness and injury and the protection of human life including by the provision of air ambulances and rapid response vehicles based in Scotland.
