To support the work of Aberdeen Sinfonietta, particularly in presenting 2 major Music Hall concerts per year, thus offering musicians from Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland the chance to perform in concert venues to the standards set by professional conductors and soloists, thus adding to the range of quality music-making available to audiences and offering the opportunity for personal and professional development for orchestra members.
Objectives: (a) to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the Trust may see fit, which may include the promotion of and/or support for public concerts and recitals in Aberdeen and the north-east of Scotland to be given by the Aberdeen Sinfonietta and its members. (b) to further such other charitable purpose or purposes connected with music and the northeast of Scotland as the Trust in its absolute discretion shall think fit.
