Summary of the main activities
In relation to these objects
The main purpose of the organisalion since ils oulsel in 2003 has been
the provision of Football activities for the local community. This slated with
the establishment of one team al one age group but quickly expanded to
include multiple teams and age groups from Minikickers (aged 4yrsl
through to an over 35's adult team in Boys Football and teams through to
an adult Wornen's team in Girls Football. The aclivllies Include d8llvery of
fun fitness and development training allgned lo the Scottlsh Football
Association for the development of Indlviduals in sport.

Bayside FC had another svo¢essful year in 2024 and continued to grow a
strong membership base. Below18 a summary of some of the highlights and
achlevemenls from throughout the year..
Continued lo operate 2$ an SFA Qualily Mark Platinum club, the
highest level of a¢¢redilation. This acknowledges the high
standards across the club, testament lo ils volunteers and
members. Some of the crilerla include coach qualifications, club
plannlng and cornmunity support.
Hosted Bayside's annual golf day, bringing together members and
guests from across the club whllsl ralslng money lor good causes in
the Ioc31 community.
Installed new signag8 al Pilreavie base lo welcome vlsitors to the
club.
Installed new secure storage units to further Improve aGGess to hlgh
quality kit across the club.
Continued partnerships with local business who provlded
sponsorshlp supporting the club members with high quality kll.
Several teams attended and hosted football fesllvals throughout the
year.
The 2015 and 2017 boys le2m completed local 'MacTuff
Challenges, raising funds and a great team bonding event.
Partnered with our oxternal coaching provlder lo off8r summer
camp to team mgmb¢rs during the summer and Oclob8r school
holldays.
Continued lo oporate a popular'mlnl-klckers, 8eclSon, gelling klds
involvèd from as young as 4, offerlng greal facilities and qua11fied
coaches at an affordable ral8.
Continued partnership with Pllreavl& Sports centre and FWe Soccer
Sevens lo offer consislenl foolball to melnbers In a Safe and well-
èquipped environment.
Saw several players who have developed Ihelr 5klll$ at the club

Financial review

Brief statement of the Gharlty's pollcy
on reserves
The charity is vigilant lo ensure that sufficient unrestricted funds are held
to support the day lo day running costs. There are no staff employed nor
landlbuildings owned therefore there are no long term financial obligations
for which significant reserves need lo be held. Player subscription$ are
reviewed with the committee regularly to ensure that the ¢lub has
SLrficienl income lo cover oulgoings and a sufficient buffer level of funds 13
held in case of any unexpected expenditure. There are also some
additional general funds in reserves to fund future projects.

## **Independent Examiner’s Report to the Trustees of Bayside Football Club (SC041746)** 

I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 12 2024. 

## **Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner** 

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities 

Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the 2006 Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. 

## **Basis of independent examiner’s statement** 

My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention 

1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: 

- to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 44(1) (a) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations 

- to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations 

have not been met, or 

2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
