Objectives: 2. Aims and Objectives The band will exist to provide educational, recreational and social activities for children and young people up to age 18 through the teaching of brass musical instruments and playing of brass band music. The Penicuik Youth band will develop players with the object of encouraging adult players to join Penicuik Silver Band, its sister organisation. It will also seek to benefit the community by providing entertainment through public performances at civic events, concerts and festivals
