**What the charity does:** Port Seton Centre Management Committee is set up to support the provision of educational and recreational facilities, educational and recreation programmes to help improve the conditions of life for the people of Cockenzie &amp; Port Seton and the local area to reduce inequalities and promote active citizenship. This is done in various ways including providing a community gym, soft play room, supporting community groups and facilitating health and well being activities to meet the needs of the community and offering affordable and accessible room hire within Port Seton Centre.

**Objectives:** The provision of educational and recreational facilities and the organisation of educational and recreational programmes with the object of improving the conditions of life for the people of Cockenzie and Port Seton  To advance community development and active citizenship through volunteering with the object of increasing the involvement of individuals and voluntary organisations in community activity and improving community infrastructure, effectiveness and resilience
