Structure, Governance and Management The Parent Council operates under a written constitution approved on 4 June 2025, in line with the Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006. Trustees are elected from the Parent Forum and serve on a voluntary basis. The charity is not part of a wider network and has no paid staff.
Charitable Purposes and Activities

The charity’s purpose is to support the education and welfare of pupils at Calderwood Lodge Primary School. This includes raising and distributing funds for school-related initiatives, equipment, and experiences that enhance pupil learning and wellbeing. Financial Review

The charity opened the year with a balance of £10,123.06, received £16,454.77 in income, and spent £16,311.46, resulting in a closing balance of £10,266.37 as of 30

June 2025. All funds are unrestricted and used to further the charity’s purposes. No trustee received remuneration or reimbursement during the year. The accounts were prepared on areceipts and payments basis and independently examined in line with OSCR requirements.
