**Purposes:** &#x27;the advancement of education&#x27;,&#x27;the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended&#x27;

**What the charity does:** The charity is set up to provide the local community with skill required to make a model railway layout including art, electrics and joinery. it also provides a social gathering twice a week with like minded people

**Objectives:** The Club’s Objectives are: a) The advancement of education, community development and heritage. and b) The provision and organisation of recreational facilities by: -Providing practical training for its members and the public in the range of skills associated with railway modelling and miniature engineering. -Conserving and restoring the Category B listed Fort Matilda Station building and developing it to create a Model Railway training and display centre as a resource accessible to the public and to local community groups. -Organising an annual model railway exhibition in the Greenock area.
