Objectives and activities
Charitable purposes
Aid for Education supports its partner in Rwanda in providing relief, shelter, and aid to families in the east of the country. Aid for Education assists children in Rwanda in accessing education who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
Main Activities
Aid for Education raises funds in the UK to support the work of its partner, helping some of Rwanda’s poorest children and their families; children whose families cannot afford to support them in their desire to gain access to education, basic medical care, or shelter. Aid for Education supports a nursery and primary school and also supports a women’s farming project, a goat income generating project and a microfinance project.

Trustees can be appointed with the decision of current charity trustees.
Achievements and performance
Through donations and fundraising events, Aid for Education continued to grow and maintain Tubarere Nursery and Primary School.
The charity also raised funds to support income-generating projects in the local community and help more women through the microfinance project.
Aid for Education has also continued to support children through the sponsorship programme, enabling families to pay school fees and other education costs.
This year Aid for Education has paid school fees for secondary students and for nursery and primary students studying at Tubarere school as well as one student at university.
This year also, we paid health insurance for families and supported women in micro finance.
Through donations and fundraising events, a bus has also been bought for Tubarere School.

Future plans
Aid for Education plans continue to support the growth of Tubarere Nursery and Primary School and support more children in their education.
The organisation plans to extend the income-generating projects to support more women and families, in particular, the microfinance scheme and to support the community farming project.
The organisation also plans to support more families through child sponsorship and medical insurance.
