**What the charity does:** DHS is a volunteer and deaf-led charity founded in 2008. DHS are committed to preserving and celebrating the history, culture, and activities of deaf people and deaf organisations in Scotland. The organisation has two core aims:  •	To support the discovery, research, and preservation of the history, culture, language, and communities of deaf people in Scotland.  •	To support Deaf people in accessing education, training, employment and opportunities connected to heritage and history  DHS is also the caretaker of the Scottish Deaf Archive, or SDA, which is based in Edinburgh and holds more than 200 years of material relating to deaf communities across Scotland.
