We work to improve health and social well-being, to inspire recovery, to raise self-esteem, to create positive change and purpose amongst those who need it most, as well as improving education and employment prospects for those who are disadvantaged or marginalised. Using horsemanship, equine-assisted learning, rural skills and the outdoors, we deliver award-winning projects that encourage participants to acquire new coping strategies, life skills and resilience, whilst gaining nationally accredited qualifications Our main Programmes include: Military Wellbeing for veterans, serving personnel and their families Youth Development for young people between the ages of 16 and 25 Community Wellbeing for those within our local community Schools Development for disengaged school children Schools Engagement for all year 1 students from local schools Rural Skills for those within our local community Long-term sick support programmes On Line Mental Health and Wellbeing programme One to One

Beneficiaries: 'People with disabilities or health problems','Other defined groups','Other charities or voluntary bodies'

Objectives: To facilitate and advance the development of health and social wellbeing in order to improve the quality of life of persons who are: (i) Serving or who have served in the Armed Forces and who have been injured or wounded and are suffering mental or physical illness or disability, including post-traumatic stress disorder. (ii) By reason of their age group, ill-health (including mental health), disability, social or financial circumstances, occupation or some other disadvantage who could benefit from utilising the services and facilities provided by the Company. To include but not restricted to: The provision of personal advancement through the development of basic horsemanship skills to aid health, social wellbeing, confidence and general interaction skills on occasion utilising equine therapy. and The advancement of education and personal development through the provision of training and classes in selected rural skills, traditional skills and conservation/adventure activities and occupations in order to support the treatment, rehabilitation, re-settlement, re-training and employability of such persons.
