Charitable purposes

and focus for the family. To achieve this the charity runs key programmes a
well ay the possibility of very specific gffting awards.
Summary of the rnain activities
in relation to these objects
Logan's Sunny Days is the charity's respite caravan facility which offers ke)
holiday and family time together in a relaxed Setting. The caravan is a have
families with a child receiving treatment. for post treatment and for bereavei
families. As well as providing a vaCa￿n facility the ¢harity also affanges an
ftjnds all activities for the family during their stay. The facility is available all
year-round.
A￿ayS a Rainbow is the charity's sponsorship programme giving primarily
children the opportunty to take part in the adivities that treatment may havi
p￿vented them doing both due lo the sacrifices made and also financial
restrictions. The programme also recognise5 the sacrifices siblings make ai
will swnsor them also as well as parents. This is a long term programme th
encourages development, learning new sknlls. building confidence, creating
friendships and having fun.
Our grfling programme now fo¢u$es on ￿ main specific 'items' of support.
The first being OUF Puppy programme where we grant families the opportun
to bring 8 dog into their lives. We have an upper limit of granting 6 per year
order lo protect our operating furKls. This programme has proved a unique ."
life changing initiatsve.
The charity also provides specialist drysuits to children receiving treatment
allow them to swim and play in the sea and other water based activit*es We
work in partnership with a company who pioneered these suits. They are th.
only eompany in the United Kingdom making such a suit and we are one of
only two charities we are aware of who grant these suits
APPENDIX 1
Achievements and performance

Summary of the maln a¢hievem¢nts of The continued success of Logan's Sunny Days wh￿h has proved a real
the charity during the finaneial perfod
haven for families who have enjoyed using the facility.
The facilty is used by around 25 to 30 families in the year. Be¢ause we
otganise and fund a famity's week of activities while on their Tespile break
this eases the financial burden a5 well as giving them a memorable week
of experiences they may otherwise not have done.
A￿ayS a Rainbow has continued to grow year on year with new interest
being generated each week and new participants starting their own
specific a¢tivities on a regular basis. We believe this to be a quite unique
programme that will conttnue lo grow ar¢d grow.
Children as well as parents throughout Scotland are now participatin9 on
the programme and reaping the benefits.
We granted 6 puppies throughout the year resulting in life changing help.
The charity's name has continued to grow and the volume of work and
levels of support we offer families increased despite the charity being run
entirely by volunteers.
Financial review
Brief ststement of the ¢harlty's pollcy
on reserve8
Our reserves are very modest and are onty at a level that would all¢)w us
to njn for a period of less than a year if our income streams slopped with
immediate effect.
2024125 was the first financial year since the start of the covid pandemic in
2020 that our income was greater than our output. All previous years in
this timeframe were a large defi¢il. Due to changed we made to refocus
our spending and support this has stopped the charity finances from being
massively in danger and 178d this financial year followed its predecessors
il would have been catastrophic for Logan'5 Fund.
