- Minutes of 2024 AGM- the Secretary gave a verbal report on the 2024 AGM, which was held at Edenbank Hotel. The agenda items discussed were Appointment to 2024/25 Council nominatedPresident Elect no nomination meeting — subsequentlyJ was Service and Environment - Membership — Foundation — Youth — Publicity — Programme - Members without portio os
Subscriptions — no change in amount
Venue — Edenbank were no longer able to host our meetings, The Holiday Inn at Crichton was proposed as an alternative. Agreed to have meal nights there in May and June then makea final decision on venue (subsequently confirmed as Holiday Inn)
- Proposed subscription rates — The Treasurer suggested an increase to £152/ year and explained that this was only the third increase in 20 years and £116 of this went to RIBI and District. The increase was needed to ensure sufficient funds in the Club Account. The donation to Foundation would be investigated and Council would come back to members with a recommendation on amount of donation and how this amount was to be raised. In the subsequent discussion it was emphasised by members that any donation to Foundation should not come from normal charity events.
