Influence policy and establish relationships with the UK and Scottish Government. Build effective links between minority and majority communities across all equality dimensions

Objectives: (a) to work towards the elimination of all forms of discrimination. (b) to promote equality of opportunity and good relations amongst groups of people without distinction on grounds of colour, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, gender, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, age and creed. (c) to promote co-ordination and co-operation in the achievement of the above purposes and, to that end, bring together representatives of national and local voluntary organisations and public authorities engaged in the furtherance of the above purposes or any of them.
