The Trust continued to attract fundirrfJ lo enable it to fund the participation ol youth rugby in the local community. The

from Glasgow Life to a Community Interest Company which we aTe 8¢tiv6ly supportiNJ. This will exl¢nd our community
links and may provide new opportunihes to develop adult and youth rugby aclivty In 8n artt8 of nead wthin C
boundary. This will bs trxplor8d mor8 lully by The Trustees over the next 12 months. In the meantime Junior rugby
continues to bg offered through our 888ociated orgaThisations- GHK RFC and Glasgow Academrcals.
Club rugby
The vast majority of our I￿ay&r9 arè young people Under21 years with a large group of18 year old players {14}. OUT levels
of participalion have continued to grow witr regular attendan¢e at training and team sesslons In excess of 50. We have a
strong foc¢Js on develoFmenl palhvrdys this has proven $u¢¢e$slul wilh 5 play&rs ￿Ing on to represent ScotLand al
Under 20 age gioup level.
The support that we provNJe in physical and ski115 development SUPFAernented wlh a strong commitmgnlto mental h&olth
with links lo speGial4st ayen¢ios and profes$lonal$. This ￿MaInS a priority for us.
Plans for the Future
We rern8in ¢tsmmitted lo rgtsining a high profilo and us¢ whatever influence we have to improve the govemance of Scottish
Rugby. We have managed to contribute po&tively to recent improvements in this regard. Wè will continu8 to look lo offgr
additional opportunity to yo¢Jng people based on rugby activity.

club have a duty to safeguard the welfare of those children. This duty extends to the prevention of physical, sexual or
