CTG provides relief to the communities of Glasgow and surrounding areas who are in need due to age, mobility, mental and physical disability, illness and poverty. This is achieved by providing affordable, reliable, accessible transport solutions to the local communities we serve. Our transport solutions are tailored to the needs of people who have difficulty accessing public transport. The demographics of the local communities include older adults, those with a disability or mobility issues and those who are socially isolated. These solutions provided include: ? Group transport to local voluntary and community groups ? Community bus registered timetabled services ? Volunteer car scheme enabling people to access health appointments ? Assisted support for learning school transport ? Demand responsive transport - that assists individuals to access local clubs and a door-to-door transport service for those over 65 to attend rehabilitation exercise classes offered by NHS GG&C.

Objectives: The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the company’s objects are:- to provide relief to people resident in the Glasgow area (and its environs) (“the Operating Area”) who are in need because of age, mental or physical disability, illness or poverty, and in particular (but without prejudice to that generality) to provide and assist in the provision of not-for-profit community transport services serving the needs of such people. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise the company shall seek to work in partnership to promote community transport at a local, regional and national level. To advance education and in particular (but without prejudice to that generality) to provide training and information for community transport within the Operating Area. To advance citizenship and community development and in particular (but without prejudice to that generality) to develop a volunteer scheme which supports all community transport provision within the Operating Area. To promote, conduct and/or support other similar projects and initiatives, which are in furtherance of charitable purposes, for the benefit of the community.
