**Purposes:** &#x27;the advancement of education&#x27;,&#x27;the advancement of citizenship or community development&#x27;,&#x27;the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended&#x27;

**What the charity does:** The charity was set up to provide for the local community to partake in various events which are organised by the halls management association. To enable this to happen we hire out the local community centre for different events. This helps finance these events.

**Objectives:** The object of the Association shall be: To provide social, cultural and educational opportunities for all residents. by working with other groups in Renfrewshire Council whose interests are similar to the Association to everyone&#x27;s mutual benefit and by co-operation with Renfrewshire Council and residents of Renfrewshire in the maintenance and management of the Cochrane Castle Hall in furtherance of the above objects.
