The purposes of the Charity are: a) To preserve, improve and promote Cambuslang Park as a community asset for the benefit of local residents and visitors. b) To advance citizenship, community development, and environmental improvement through volunteer involvement and community activities. c) To undertake any lawful activity which supports these purposes. This is done by holding activities and events in the park for the local community to attend.

Objectives: a) To support the development of Cambuslang Park and to promote the benefits of the park as a valuable community asset. b) To research and promote the history of the park and the history and heritage of the local area and community.
