The above unit is an unincorporated association. 11 has no wniten coftslitulion. but operates in
accordance with the Guiding Manual published by Girlguiding UK, the operaling name ol the
Guide Association. The Guide Association Is incoiporaled under a Royal Charter which gives
power lo form units across the United Kingdorn
The Iwslees are volunteer adult leaders appointed as Leaders in temi$ of the said Guiding
Manual and in accordance with the Royal Charter.
Our aim is to help girl$ and young women develop their polentral to be leaders and effective
Citizens by delivering a programme of informal education in accordance with the ethos and
piinciples of Girlguiding UK.
The main income is sub$criplion income. The unil aims lo hold sufficienl cash funds lo meet
all expenditure due and anlicipaled during a 3 month period.
No remuneration was paid lo Trustees during the year.
Legilimale expenses reimbursed lo Twslees during the year for expenses incurred in
fulfilling their Iruslee duties

The chariiys trustees are respcK)sible for preparation of the accounts in
accordan￿ the temis of the Charilies and Twslee Investrnent
(Scotlandl 2005 Ad and the Charities Aca)unts (Scotland) Regulations
2006. The charity tntstees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation
10(1) {d) of Atxounts Reguktions does rK)t apply. It is my responsibilFty
to examine the accounts as required under secuon 44(1 > {c) of the Act and
to state whether particular matters have come lo my attention.
My examination is ¢arrigJ out in accordance ￿ Regulation 11 of the
Charities A￿c￿nts (ScotlarKII Regulatrons 2CKJ6. An examination includes a
review of the a¢countir#J rewds kept ty the charity and a comparison of
