**What the charity does:** Our charity monitors the group finances to ensure funds are available to enable the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to participate in external events and activities, as well as insurance and premises costs which are our largest outlay.  We ensure correct practices are adhered to with any fundraising event.

**Objectives:** Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
