Objectives and activities
Charitable purposes
Summary of the main activities
in relation to these objects
(a) the advancement of the Christian Religion by the proclamation of the
good news of Jesus Christ principally in Inverurie and the immediately
surrounding area, but also throughout the North East of Scotland and
Scotland as a whole and to support both financially and in all practical ways
those engaged in the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout
the world. (b) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health,
disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage both in Inverurie and
the immediately surrounding area but also throughout the United Kingdom
During the year under review the church has continued to support and
encourage ecumenical and mission work, largely in and around the
Inverurie area. We have held regular services that are open to everyone
and joined with churches of other denominations for particular
celebrations such as Easter. The church has worked with other local
charities exploring the possibility of broadening our support and care in
the community and continued the policy of providing help to those who,
by reason of age, ill-health or disability require assistance in Inverurie
and the surrounding areas.

Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements
of the charity during the financial
period
We meet in the Fly Cup meeting rooms, upstairs from the Fly Cup cafe.
They have been very welcoming and we meet now every Sunday at 11am.
Services are advertised on Facebook and a church webpage and are open
to all comers. We have continued an on-line prayer meeting on Thursday
evenings, overcoming the problem of travel for our scattered congregation.
We have continued to visit those members who are especially
disadvantaged and maintained contact with those who are still struggling to
return post-covid to offer what support we can.
We continue to support an individual who is now engaged by OMF (a UK
charity) to develop opportunities for ministry to Chinese speakers in the
north of Scotland. This is proving quite exciting as there are numerous
students attending a branch of the Glasgow School of Art near Forres as
well as many families employed in various catering outlets throughout the
north-east.

Financial review

on reserves

Donated facilities and services (if any)

made over previous years.
